The events of September 11, 2001 drastically changed the level of communications emergency personnel need. The communications infrastructure used for tactical command and for the control of emergency situations then, are no longer adequate.
Need
Law enforcement personnel required a nationwide infrastructure to provide dedicated, interagency communications in times of emergency.
Response
Spearheading the pilot project for this enormous objective, EyakTek has designed and built a land-mobile-radio (LMR) voice communications infrastructure throughout the Northwest U.S. We have provided a complete end-to-end solution, including general network design, site survey and acquisition, environmental studies and due diligence, real estate and zoning coordination, site construction, RF equipment installation, and system and user acceptance testing.
Result
EyakTek
continues to construct the LMR network in the Northwest, guaranteeing
clear lines of communication for government agencies during
times of crisis.
